March 4, 2020 was the evening of BAJA S.A.F.E. Humane Society’s 13th annual fundraiser.
A Night in New Orleans was a great combination of upbeat Creole flavors and Basin Street notes at the fabulous Flora Farms Mango Grove. The French Quarter atmosphere and the Dixieland music of the David Cantoni Trio, (with special guests), and the dance music of DooWap, was well attended with over 100 people. A silent auction offered a great assortment of items from Pineda Covalin handbags to golf packages and ocean adventures.
Baja S.A.F.E. is a non-profit Humane Societyduly registered to operate in the State of Baja California Sur. Founded in 2007 by Isabelle Ann Tiberghien, the organization is run by Isabelle Ann and many volunteers. For years IsabelleAnnTiberghienand Baja S.A.F.E have been working to make our part of Baja a better place.
Isabelle Ann’s passionate dedication is not restricted to the homeless animals of Los Cabos, she also touches the lives of countless less fortunate families in the area. It is not uncommon to find her and her team in the barrios assisting needy families and their pets by supplying medical care, spay and neuter clinics and food for their pets. She makes a positive impact in the community and is highly respected by long time local Bajaites and business donors for her efforts and passion.
Many great ‘furever’ homes are found with our neighbors north in the USA and Canada. Baja S.A.F.E connects with many shelters who are happy to accept Los Cabos rescue dogs and cats and makes it easy for the volunteer ‘angels’ who transport them.
This year found Peter Bowling, managing director of Viceroy Los Cabos, donating an unbelievable two-night experience at this fine hotel as an unexpected auction item –the bidding was fierce and two lucky recipients ended up with this special donation.
The Greene family and Flora Farm’s has been a proud supporter of BajaS.A.F.E for years. The Agency Los Cabos has been a proud sponsor offering marketing and promotional support as this non-profit is near and dear to our hearts. Boutique Rental Company worked their magic with décor and set up and turned the Mango Grove into a most festive atmosphere. The Agency Los Cabos is a second-time proud sponsor of this event and excited to be promoting this festive evening with Hero&Co.Thank you to all who attended and who continue to support animal rescue non-profit groups all over the world.
